Now before some of you make the Air Jordan 5 “3Lab5” walk the plank, I would like to inform you that there is a legitimate reason behind the shoe’s colorway. The Air Jordan 5 Retro “3Lab5” takes the most recognizable feature from the Air Jordan 3 Retro (Elephant Print) and places it all over the Air Jordan 5 Retro. Its part of a new Jordan Brand series that will look to take infamous features from previous Jordan Retro models and place it on new Retros to shed new light on old traditions. Another way to look at the “Lab” series is as a 2014 version of Jordan’s ” Bin 23″ collection that used premium materials to create a one-of-a-kind sneaker.
Jordan Brand says that the series will be a “elevated” package, which means you can expect a big price increase due to the overall improved quality and packaging of the shoe. The Air Jordan 5 “3Lab5” will release on September 21st and retail for $250.
